How to use the NNA Training Center


To print your certificates of completion

  1. Go to My Courses and Exams.
  2. Choose the "Completed" tab.
  3. Ensure your date range is correct.
  4. Click the Certificate link underneath the course.
  5. If you have completed your course and do not have a Certificate link, please email us at nnatrainingcenter@nationalnotary.org. We will get back to you within 1 business day.

Please note: The NNA does not provide a paper certificate of completion for Signing Agent Certification. To accommodate companies asking for verification of your NSA Certification, you can send them a direct link to your SigningAgent.com profile, allowing them to access all of your profile details quickly and easily. You can find this link in the My Signing Agent Profile section of NationalNotary.org.


To print a copy of your background screening results...

  1. Use the account information you created when starting the screening
  2. Log in to your Backgrounds Online account at: https://clients.backgroundsonline.com/NNA/login.aspx
  3. A list of all screenings done will be shown. Click on the “Click to View” link in the right column next to the background screening results you wish to view.
  4. Contact Backgrounds Online at 877-288-1588 if you have any technical difficulty or questions related to the results.

Dashboard Features

My Courses and Exams: In Progress Tab

Lists the courses you're enrolled in. Use it to track your progress, the amount of time you've spent in a course, your grade (if applicable), the date you purchased the item, and the date it expires.

  • View Details includes the description and key words for each course.
  • Launch the course. If you've already started it, you may resume from where you left off or restart from the beginning.

My Courses and Exams: Recently Completed Tab

Based on your recent activity and lists the courses you've begun. Sort by year.

  • Launch is available for all active courses. Expired items are listed but cannot be launched.
  • Certificates are available once you have completed all requirements for your course, and a certificate is available to download.

Course Catalog Page Features

  • Course catalog shows all courses available through the NNA Training Center.
  • Refine Search allows you to search by keyword, title, or course description. Use quotation marks around phrases (e.g., "code of conduct").

Technical Support (System & Software Requirements)

Online courses are not recommended for users who can't satisfy the following requirements. The NNA also offers LiveSeminars for some California Notary training courses.

  • Google Chrome is supported, but depending on version may not support bookmarking
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 can be used but is no longer actively supported.

  • Windows XP or newer
  • Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or newer

Java

  • the latest version (your computer usually updates this automatically)

Cookies

Most browsers now block cookies by default. To use the bookmarking feature in our online courses, you must enable cookies in your browser. If you are allowing cookies for the Training Center only, make sure to log into the Training Center before you update your cookie settings.

Pop-up Blockers

To use certain features within our online courses, you must turn off pop-up blocking in your browser. (You may turn pop-up blocking on when you are not taking an online course.) To allow popups for the Training Center only, make sure to log into the Training Center before you update your settings.

Browsing History

Occasionally browsing history cache will interfere with online course functionality. 


Should you have problems viewing this site, try accessing it with a different browser.
